Whitord – Geelong Property News: We have now received the news we have all been waiting for. The RBA has provided the first interest rate cut in more than four years. The Board cut rates by 25 basis points from 4.35 per cent to 4.10 per cent. The big banks quickly followed suit and announced they would all cut their home loan rates by 0.25 per cent. 

What impact will this have on the market? Will buyer activity surge now that the market has appeared to have turned a corner? Or will we see a flood of new listings from sellers who have been waiting for an interest rate drop? We will soon find out. It will be an interesting watch.
