Whitford - Geelong Property News: I had a buyer say to me on the weekend at an open for inspection that the market will be soft until December 2025 because that’s when the first interest rate drop will be. I politely informed him that that three of the big four banks are predicting a rate cut in November this year. Obviously there a lot of economists with a lot of different predictions out there but if you look at the predictions from the four big banks there is a 75% chance of a rate drop in November, with some more positive inflation figures hopefully sooner than that.
