Whitford - Geelong Property News: We are certainly living in a turbulent world but we are starting to defy expectations. Our sales department is having one of the strongest sales months that we have had in nearly two years. What is the reason for that?

There is no particular reason that we can put our finger on. We think buyers are sick of waiting for the rates to drop and after yesterday's inflation data we think more buyers have realised that they might be waiting a lot longer for that rate reduction.

A number of the buyers that have purchased off us this month have said their current house isn’t getting any bigger and they weren’t willing to wait another 18 to 24 months to buy so they decided to pull the trigger. We feel we are going to start to see more of this thinking.
